Our Team
With over two decades of experience in apparel manufacturing, retail, and exports, Deepa's (Left) journey into the fashion industry began in 2002 after graduating in Economics from Delhi University.
Starting with high-fashion embellished garments, she swiftly transitioned to children's wear in 2006, launching and managing several brands. Now, after 19 fulfilling years, she has stepped back into a consulting role, dedicating her time to promoting sustainability in the fashion industry, her primary focus for the future. Colabitat is a venture where she embarks on a new journey to redefine all the industry norms.
Gauri (Right), a graduate in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College and holder of a postgraduate degree in Business Economics from the University of Delhi, hails from a family deeply rooted in the garment exports business.
After a brief stint in banking, she embraced her passion for fashion, joining her father's export business in 2004. Taking the reins in 2010, she later recognized the detrimental impact of fast fashion and began championing sustainability. In January 2020, she launched a brand offering ethically sourced, handmade women's clothing, driven by her commitment to a more eco-conscious fashion industry. And now she is here with a new much needed vision
